Finnraccoon gives more volume per centimetre than anything else in the range. That is the whole point of it. The natural version is cut and matched by hand to the rim you measure, with zip or button fittings set to the OEM spacing. It replaces a matted, melted or missing ruff, or upgrades the thin factory trim.
Will it fit your hood
Measure the rim flat, corner to corner, and note where the slider or button loops sit. Send a photo of the fastening with the number if anything has been altered. The trim seats on the original line and comes off again for care or storage. It is a compatible replacement part, not an original manufacturer piece.
Lengths and sizing
We cut 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90 and 95 cm. Add 5 cm to the flat measurement for corner overlap. Too short leaves gaps at the corners, too long bunches at the centre. The standard 74 cm covers most parka hoods; custom length is cut to your number and takes a day longer.
The material
Tone is matched across the run, and the density is why this material is used on hoods that need to stay open. Natural fur varies in tone, so we match within one shade rather than to a swatch. Tone preference can be noted at checkout.
Care
Hand wash cold, or machine on cold in a mesh bag. Dry flat, brush the pile out, never tumble.
Delivery and returns
Cut and dispatched within 24 hours. 1 to 2 days inside the EU, 3 to 7 days worldwide, tracked either way. 14-day returns on standard lengths; custom lengths are excluded once cut.
